Sally J. Rallis

Sally J. Rallis, 96, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025,
at Colonial Lodge Tender Care in Greenville, TX.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.,
Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Sullivan Funeral Home in
Vernon, TX.
Graveside services will be held at Bell Cemetery near
Odell, TX at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, under the
direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Sally grew up in Odell, Texas, the fourth of twelve children
of Brad and Annie Mae Neel. She married George Rallis and
travelled with him to various bases while he served in the
United States Air Force. Upon his retirement from the military
they settled in Vernon, TX. In later years she moved to Lone
Oak, TX. While in Vernon, Sally was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the
Rebekah Lodge. Sally worked at the Vernon Manufacturing Company for many years
sewing Boy Scout pants. After the closure of the “pants factory”, she enjoyed sewing
and making quilts among other pursuits. Most of all she enjoyed family.
Sally is survived by daughter Kathy Bendele and husband Chris of San Antonio,
son Randy Rallis and wife Angie of Wichita Falls, and daughter Cindy Garmon and
husband Russ of Lone Oak. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Doug
Bendele and wife Melissa of Austin, Tim Bendele and wife Jennifer of San Antonio,
Bryan Bendele and wife Katie of San Antonio, Racheal Rallis and wife Shelby of
Henrietta, Luke Rallis and wife Samantha of Wichita Falls, Zack Rallis of Wichita
Falls, Traci Moser and husband Chris of Lone Oak, Blake Garmon and wife Holly of
Selinsgrove, PA; thirteen great grandchildren; Noah, Jonah, Levi, Travis, Heather,
Jacob, Sarah, Ryleigh, Brock, Kelsie (husband Blake Taylor), Madelyn, Sallie, Asa
and two great, great grandchildren Harrison and Kylan. She also leaves behind three
sisters, Mary Sue Maddin, Thelma Smith, and Sandra Sullivan, and one brother,
Clayton Neel.
Sally is preceded in death by her sisters, Dee Neathery and Nona Perrin.
