ADA DELORES MCDANIEL
Ada Delores McDaniel, 89 of Wichita Falls, Texas passed
away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at
Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Tamplen and
Mr. Mike Klappenbach o ciating. A private family burial will
be held at Crowell Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan
Funeral Home
Ada was born Monday, Oct. 28, 1935, in Crowell, Texas. She
was the daughter of the late Orville Black and the late Aileen
Lawson Perkinson. She married Charlie Hines McDaniel
on Feb. 28, 1955, in Crowell, Texas. Ada retired from the USDA Farm Service
Agency. She lived most of her life in Crowell, Texas. She was longtime member of
the First Baptist Church of Crowell where she served as the secretary treasurer. She
also served as a board member for the Crowell Housing Authority. Ada moved to
Vernon, Texas in 2013 and became a member of First Baptist Church of Vernon.
Ada is survived by four daughters, Debra Sanderson, Vicki Tamplen & husband
Terry, Terri Wall and Kay Baize, her sister, Rita Hinkle, and her daughter-in-law
Sandra McDaniel. Ada also leaves behind nine grandchildren, nineteen greatgrandchildren,
and ve great-great-grandchildren.
Ada is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie McDaniel, her son, Keith
McDaniel, her brothers, John Haggard and Charles Dale Black, her sister, Patricia
LaCava, and her sons-in-law, Al Sanderson and Jay Wall.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services begin, Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at
Sullivan Funeral Home from.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Hospice of Wichita Falls, First Baptist
Church of Crowell, or First Baptist Church of Vernon.
