Betty Daniel Boone

Betty Daniel Boone, 81 of Bushland, Texas passed
away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, in Bushland, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 8,
2024, at First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Texas with
Rev. Clay Carter officiating. Burial will follow at
Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan
Funeral Home.
Betty was born Wednesday, May 12, 1943, in
Chillicothe, Texas. She was the daughter of the late
Walter Levi Daniel and the late Josie Pearl Montgomery
Daniel. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in
1962. She married Silas Carol “Sibo” Boone on April 25,
1963, in Chillicothe, Texas. She was a housewife and worked at Texoma Home
Health and Wilbarger General Hospital Home Health as a CNA for fifteen years.
Betty loved being a farmer’s wife. She was a member of First Methodist Church
of Chillicothe.
Betty is survived by one son, Randy Cody Boone & wife Camie of Bushland,
Texas; one daughter, Starla Carol Boone Stone & husband Chris of Bushland,
Texas; four grandchildren, Coda Wayne Stone of Amarillo, Texas, Randa Camille
Stone of Amarillo, Texas, Juanita Ceyann Boone of Shoreview, Minnesota, and
Silas Read Boone of San Marcos, Texas, and two great grandchildren, Brylee Cey
Brewer and Diego Jax Santos.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Sibo Boone on May 15, 2010.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Smith
Chapel in Chillicothe, Texas.
Memorials can be made to Chillicothe ISD or Chillicothe Ex-Student
Association.
