Early voting begins Oct. 21

Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election, which includes Vernon ISD and Northside ISD trustees’ elections, begins Oct. 21 at the Wilbarger County Auditorium.
Early voting takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday,Oct. 21 through Oct. 25; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.
Early voting continues 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, at the auditorium, with the final early voting day being Nov. 1.
On election day, Nov. 5, voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at four locations within Wilbarger County.
Precinct 1 will vote at the Wilbarger Auditorium; the Precinct 19 polling place will be at the Vernon Housing Authority, 1111 Ross St.; Precinct 20 will be located in the Wilbarger County Commissioners Courtroom; and Precinct 21 will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 2101 Yucca St.
There are 10 different ballots for the upcoming election that will be used, depending upon the voter’s residence location. Samples of each of theses ballots can be found online at the Wilbarger County website, https://www.co.wilbarger.tx.us/page/wilbarger.Elections.
