Commissioners take no action on animal proposal

Vernon city commission members took no action on a proposal to strengthen animal ordinances related to dangerous dogs and outline penalties for such offenses during a monthly business meeting Tuesday. County raises tax rate 8%

The Wilbarger County Commissioners approved a budget with $9.7 million of income and $9.3 million in expenses for the next fiscal year.
