A downtown vigil was held on Saturday night, Nov. 17, to mark the 27th anniversary of Vernon Police Sgt. Richard Beck being killed in the line of duty. Beck was shot on Nov. 17, 1991 while responding to a domestic disturbance call. See more photos in the online edition.
