James Wiederanders

   KINGSVILLE – James A. (J.A.) Wiederanders, 84, of Kingsville, died on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Kingsville. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kingsville with the Rev. Allan C. Eckert officiating. Interment followed at Chamberlin Cemetery in Kingsville under the direction of Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville.
   Wiederanders was born on Feb. 8, 1930 in Vernon to Carl L. Wiederanders and Lydia Bruns Wiederanders. He was employed at Celanese for 38 years until his retirement. He had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kingsville, since 1957.
   Survivors include his wife, Bernice Kieschnick Wiederanders of Kingsville; three children, Lawanda Skrobarczyk of Corpus Christi; LaDon Wiederanders of Kerrville, and Eva Bennett of Kingsville; one sister, Elinor Roth of Vernon; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Patrick Joseph Skrobarczyk, and a sister, Nettie Freeling.
