Girls In Flight Training academy underway at airport

Gift Academy, Inc. is sponsoring its eighth annual GIFT (Girls In Flight Training) Academy at the Wilbarger County Airport this week during which women of all ages receive training to fly a small airplane.

There are some 15 women from Texas, Oklahoma and across the nation from as far away as Maine and Florida attending this year’s event.
