Five sentenced in District Court
Several cases involving methamphetamine were adjudicated during recent proceedings of the 46th Judicial District Court last week in Wilbarger County.
Marcos Villa Ramon, 33, of Vernon, was sentenced to two years in state jail following his plea of guilty to possession of methamphetamine.
Brandy Nicole Fraticelli, 35, of Vernon, was placed on mandatory probation for a period of three years and ordered to drug rehabilitation following her plea of guilty to possession of methamphetamine.
Amanda Marie Stroud, 38, of Arlington, was placed on probation for three years following her plea of guilty to possession of methamphetamine.
Sheila Ann Smith, 48, of Chillicothe, also pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was placed on mandatory probation for a period of three years.
Allison Nicole Berger, 26, of Denver, Colorado, was placed on probation for a period of three years following her plea of guilty to felony possession of marijuana.
The cases were prosecuted by District Attorney Staley Heatly while District Judge Dan Mike Bird presided over the hearing and assessed the sentences.
