New store downtown will support volunteer efforts at NTSH
A new resale shop will be opening on south Main Street later this spring. And you are invited to help name it.
The shop will be operated by the Volunteer Services Council of North Texas State Hospital–Vernon.
The proceeds from the shop will go to fund the VSC’s efforts in support NTSH employees and clients and their families. Some of those activities include purchasing Christmas presents for each client, operating the Paradise House for family visitations and employee recognition efforts.

The store is also looking for volunteers to help staff it, and for donations of items and fixtures. If you wish to donate or volunteer, contact Adams by email or phone or visit with a VSC board member.
The Volunteer Service Council board of directors is comprised of president Claudette Lowery, secretary Judith Russell and board members Clyde Conway, Mark Lytle and Daniel Walker.
