WGH can do virus testing, has plan in place

Dr. Travis Lehman updated government and school officials at several meetings during the week.

“We have testing supplies now available at the hospital. So, we are ready to test any patient that needs testing as long as they meet certain guidelines that indicate they need testing as supplies are somewhat limited,” Dr. Lehman said.

“As far as the hospital is concerned, we have a pretty good plan in place right now and we are ahead of the curve in comparison to some of the other hospitals in our area as far as stockpiling supplies and a disaster preparation plan. We are in contact daily with the CDC and health department and the outlying hospitals.”

You can not base testing off specific symptoms as they are all over the place; fever, no fever, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat, runny nose, coughing, shortness of breath, no smell or taste, theres to many wide variety of symptoms to pin point just a few and get a test done. TEST EVERYONE!!!!!!
