Wilbarger County to open on Friday

Wilbarger County Judge Greg Tyra received confirmation from the State late Thursday afternoon to allow most businesses and restaurants to open at 50 percent capacity. Vernon Fire Chief J.J. Oznick has visited all restaurants in the county to inform them what each individual capacity would be.

City Manager Marty Mangum said that any restaurant considered a Bar would not be allowed to reopen.

All Health related businesses such as Gyms and Health clubs as well as Salons and Cosmetic businesses will remain closed.
