Lots of events happening in the next week

Faith United Methodist Church’s Annual Garage Sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, the 10th at 2420 High School Drive from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Books, clothes, purses, other household items and collection of genuine Wedgewood Plates. Masks will be worn by members.

 

‘Walk in Park’ craft show to be held

A “Walk in the Park” craft show will be sponsored by TOPS of Texas 144 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, in Allingham Park, weather permitting.

The event will take place of the annual fall craft show. Vendors will be along the sidewalk around the park.

Relay for Life meeting set Monday

A Relay for Life meeting will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12, at Wilbarger Auditorium. Cancer survivors and caregivers are invited to attend and register for relay for Life.

 

American Legion meeting on Tuesday

The American Legion will meet at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13, with the meal to be followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m.

 

Free Christian music concert set

A free concert by Brandon Dorris and his band with his “Press On Tour” will be presented at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church located at 3029 Wilbarger.

A love offering for the band will be taken following the concert. Everyone is invited to attend.
