As part of Monday night’s board of trustees meeting, the Vernon Independent School District’s trustees received printed copies of the architect’s rendering of the proposed new elementary school. VISD voters are currently deciding whether to approve a $40 million bond to build the school, which would replace two old out-dated campuses. Early voting continues 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Wilbarger Auditorium through October 29 for the Nov. 2 election
You can take a virtual tour of the proposed campus by using your smart phone. Some of the interior artist renderings have a VR code on the bottom right. Scan the code to take the tour.
