Relay for Life planned

The 2022 Wilbarger American Cancer Society Relay for Life is all set to be held on Saturday, March 5, at the First Baptist Church CLC.
Activities will get underway at 3 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m., with vendors, silent auctions, activities for the younger set, the Walk, and a dinner free for cancer survivors and caregivers while others may eat for $5.
The dinner will be catered by Cody’s Cowpunchers and will be served between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The traditional luminary ceremony will also be held, with a video and talk by Kathy Rodriquez. A silent lap will be held.
Speakers this year will be cancer survivors who will share their experiences.
Residents are invited to take part in the Walk, silent auction, shop the vendors and other activities.
