Mark Wynn named new Lions head basketball coach

Mark Wynn is the new Lions basketball coach at Vernon High School.
Wynn grew up in East Texas at Fayetteville and graduated from the University of North Texas an has spent 14 years as a coach, with the past four years at Petrolia.
“Vernon is to good of an opportunity to pass up, it reminds me a lot of home. Coach Patterson did a good job here. We, my wife and kids, we are excited to be a part of this community,” Coach Wynn said.
