Welcome to Bacon City USA

Bacon City, USA will come to life at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Vernon with vendors spread throughout the downtown. From 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., food trucks will be parked in the vacant lot behind the Vernon Plaza Theatre.
At the Wright Pavilion on Pease Street between Three Hearts Steakhouse and C&N Flowers & Gifts, Lauren Akin will kickoff musical entertainment at 11 a.m., followed by the Blaine Gillespie Band at 1 p.m., Already Goners at 3 p.m. and at 6 p.m. the dedication of the Wright Pavilion will take place.
At 6:30 p.m. the winners for the bacon dish and most unique menu will be announced at the Pavilion.
From 8 to 9:30 p.m. the Randy Rogers Band will complete the s activities with a performance.
