27 building permits issued last month

August was a busy month for construction projects with 27 building permits issued by the City of Vernon during the month. As is the case during the summer, the majority were for HV/AC with nine permits issued for new air-conditioning units. There were two permits for solar power installation, five for new roofs, six for fences, two for storage buildings, one for demolition and a permit for a sign for Tyson’s.
