County assessor-tax collector resigns

County Commissioners Court was held Monday Sept. 26 in the County Courtroom of the Wilbarger County Courthouse. Judge Greg Tyra presided.

As part of the meeting, commissioners went into executive session, where they remained for the next two hours before reconvening in public session.
After coming out of executive session, commissioners announced that they had accepted the resignation of the County Tax Assessor-Collector Sherrie Campsey due to her ongoing health issues.
