Ag support program set for Thursday

A program on the importance of AG support will be presented by Texas A&M AgrLife Extension Services on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Electra Chamber of Commerce, 112 W. Clevelland in Electra.
A free meal will be served at 6 p.m., followed by the program. To attend RSVP by Monday, Oct. 10.
Iopics and speakers will be: “Programs for Conservation” by Eileen Vale, NRCS, Iowa Park, (Site evaluations, improving wildlife and your land, cost sharing, etc.); “Funds for Drought Assistance” by Kathy Bailes, ESA, Archer and Wichita counties, (Partial payment for financial losses due to drought.
