Girls basketball playoff times set For Vernon, Northside, Harrold, Crowell

Five area schools have made the playoffs in girls basketball.

The Vernon Lady Lions ended the regular season with a 39-27 win over Bowie on Tuesday night.Vernon 39,  Vernon was led by Mija Johnson scoring 13 points.

The Lady Lions earned the No. 3 seed in District 3A-7 with a 7-5 district record and are 18-15 overall. In the Region 1-3A bi-district playoff, the Lady Lions will play Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in Anson against Comanche. Comanche, ranked No. 11 in the state in 3A, is a 2 seed and finished 12-2 in District 3A-8 and is 29-3 overall.

In Class A, Region II-A Bi-District

No. 1 seed Harrold plays 4 seed Knox City, at  6 p.m. Monday in Olney.

No. 2 seed Electra vs. 3 seed Rotan at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Munday.

No. 3 seed Crowell plays Aspermont, at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Munday.

No. 4 seed Northside plays No. 1 seed Roby at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday in Munday.
