Lion Football camp signup ends Thursday

The Vernon High School Football Staff will be hosting their annual Lion Football Camp from July 22-24 at Leo Brittain Field.

Each session will run from 9:30-12:00 each day.  This camp is for all incoming K-9th athletes.

“We will take campers through drills designed to improve footwork, hand-eye coordination, throwing/catching mechanics, proper running technique, & many other sports related movements,” said coach Kevin Sherrill.

Sign-up for camp will be held in the fieldhouse coaches’ office, the building at the east end of Lion Stadium, (door G-1), from 10:00-12:00 on the following days through July 18.  Simply stop by and bring either cash or a check.  You can also pay on the first day of camp.  The camp fee is $35 per athlete.  Please make sure your camper has a pair of good running shoes or cleats. The staff will provide everything else.
