VISD trustee election heading to runoff

Five candidates vied for Place 3 on the Vernon ISD School Board of Trustees. Because no candidate received 50%, the top two candidates advance to a runoff election, scheduled for the second Saturday in December.

Those candidates are Jarrod David and Kyle Echols.
