Robert Earl “Bob” Williamson

Robert Earl “Bob” Williamson, 78, passed away on Jan. 29,
2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born on April 28, 1947,
in Clovis, New Mexico, and grew up in Sudan, Texas, where
the values of hard work, service, and integrity were instilled
early and remained with him throughout his life.
Bob proudly served in the United States Navy, training
alongside the U.S. Marine Corps. He was stationed at
Bethesda, Maryland, where he served as a medic assigned
to the operating room. During this time, he participated in
some of the earliest open-heart surgeries in the world, an
extraordinary chapter in medical history that reÀ ected both
his technical skill and calm presence under pressure. During
his military service, Bob also took part in the Presidential Inauguration of President
Richard Nixon, an experience he regarded with pride. His service to country remained
a de¿ ning part of who he was.
Following his military service, Bob built an accomplished career in ¿ nance and
accounting, becoming a respected Certi¿ ed Public Accountant (CPA) and Chief
Financial O൶ cer (CFO). Over the course of his career, he served in senior ¿ nancial
leadership roles at Wright Brand Foods in Vernon, Texas, and Master Meter, among
other organizations. His work took him across the Vernon, Fort Worth, and Wichita
Falls regions and beyond, where he inÀ uenced and mentored hundreds of professionals.
Known as an astute businessman with sound judgment and unwavering integrity,
Bob was equally remembered for his good humor, playful practical jokes, and ability
to bring levity to demanding environments. He left a lasting impression on colleagues
and friends alike, not only for his professional excellence but for the warmth and
encouragement he brought to every relationship.
Bob and his beloved wife, Marsha Williamson, shared a life grounded in partnership,
faith, and family. Together they raised two sons, instilling values of discipline,
curiosity, and service. One son followed Bob’s professional path to become a CPA and
CFO, while the other pursued a career as an electrical engineer—both reÀ ections of
Bob’s inÀ uence as a father and mentor.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marsha Williamson (77); his children Kurtis Williamson
(48) and his spouse Angela (47), and their children Harley (25), ¿ ancé Chandler, and

In retirement, Bob and Marsha made their home in Pecan Plantation in Granbury,
Texas, where Bob embraced a life centered on family, faith, and community. He
enjoyed golf, time with family and friends, and volunteering at the local food bank
through Lakeside Baptist Church, quietly continuing a lifelong commitment to service.
A Celebration of Life ceremony is being planned in Wichita Falls, Texas and a
Military entombment will both take place upon the passing of his beloved wife,
Marsha. Those wishing to attend the remembrance ceremony are invited to email
